Historic Boat LMS Sandbach at Kempstom Mill

The historic boat LMS Sandbach made the journey up to the Head of Navigation at Kempston Mill over the May Bank Holiday. However, water levels in the river were very low and a little bit of help from Trust members and onlookers was needed to make sure she could turn and safely make the return journey to Priory Marina where owner, Alison Smedley, Policy and Campaigns Manager for the IWA, has moored her over winter.
