Join our friendly Bookings Team!

Customers need to know what cruises we offer – and they sometimes need help with making booking. We’re looking for volunteers with creative and customer care skills to help the team:

  • – Write and design leaflets, posters, e-newsletters and press releases
  • – Create regular social media posts
  • – Answer customer queries
  • – Make custom bookings for schools and other groups
  • – Manage and update the publicity photo library
  • – Update our website
  • – Create onboard cruise guides for adults and children

The team meets every couple of months to make a plan for what needs doing next. Are you interested? Drop an email to Denise Taylor to let her know how you might be able to help.

New boat crew needed

We’re also looking for Cabin Hosts, who greet guests and provide them with information and catering while cruising.  (This does not involve cooking!) We’re also looking for experienced helms to skipper our electric narrowboat. The recruitment windows are as follows:

  • – Cabin Hosts: interviews in May/June 2025 for training in June/July, or January 2026 for training in March/April
  • – Skippers: interviews in September/October 2025 for training January – April 2026

NEW FOR SUMMER 2025! Two vacancies for part-time summer cabin hosts (July to September only). Great opportunity for work experience in hospitality for students Year 12 or above. Full training and support given. Find out more here.

We have a clear Volunteer Handbook which sets our values and practices. We also provide a full induction programme and training for all roles.
