An original venue for business meetings

Escape the office buzz and host your meetings on Electra. Our quiet, informal space will enable your attendees to focus away from the usual office distractions. The serene surroundings are more likely to inspire fresh ideas. Half day, morning or afternoon charter sessions are available.

The Café Bar is available for light refreshments. If you’d like catering we can offer several options to match your needs – or schedule a pub visit to fit in with your meeting.

What role does Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) play in your company ethos? Your people possess a wide variety of skill sets – sales, marketing, finance, IT, HR or networking. Electra is run by a group of over 40 dedicated volunteers. We’re a start-up, launched in 2021, making cutting edge use of battery technology. We’re proud to have won the Silver Award in the New Tourism Business category in the 2023 Beautiful South Tourism Awards.

Sponsorship opportunities

You can also demonstrate your approach to Corporate Social Responsibility by sponsoring our community cruises. Your financial support will enable us to offer valuable experiences to groups that would not otherwise be able to get on board Electra and enjoy the benefits of a relaxing canal cruise.

To date we’ve run sponsored cruises for groups including stroke survivors, people with dementia, young carers, refugee families, foster parents, young people in development programmes, and people in residential care.
