Founding Funder and Public Appeals

The Trust seeks help to Float the Milton Keynes Community Boat!
The Milton Keynes Community Boat is an enormously exciting venture – developing one of the first fully-electric community boats, with generous support from core Trust partners Milton Keynes Parks Trust and Crest Nicholson/Campbell Wharf, and from Milton Keynes Community Foundation. We have secured £80,000 in funding and need to secure a further £55,000 by 01 March so that we can place the order for the boat in time to start offering cruises this summer.
Trust members will be aware of the major positive impact that the John Bunyan Community Boat has had, both for the Trust and for Bedford, since its launch in 2013. The JB was floated with generous support from Trust members in terms of both donations and loans. Now in 2020 we hope that Trust members will support the development of our second Enterprise, which has great potential to raise both awareness of and funds for the Trust within the Milton Keynes area.
An Appeal has gone out to Trust members inviting them to become a Founding Funder for the Milton Keynes Community Boat, with a donation and/or loan, as set out in the table below.
A Public Appeal https://cafdonate.cafonline.org/12061#!/DonationDetails has also been opened for Trust members and members of the public who would like to support the project in this way. The Founding Funders scheme is also open to the public.
