We look forward to seeing you onboard
Spring cruises April – June
Coffee & Cake Cruises and Cream Tea Cruises are on the menu from the start of April.
Fish & Bubbles will start again on Friday evenings from late May.
New ‘food cruises’ include Curry Evening Cruises, and Jubilee Cream Tea Cruises during June.
Relax! cruises will run from April on Tuesday afternoons, departing from our Great Linford Manor Park mooring –a great way to unwind as Electra weaves through Stanton Low to New Bradwell.
Feeling active? Walk One Way cruises from/to Great Linford run on Tuesday mornings and on third Thursdays there’s a ‘walk and talk’ return trip to explore the canal at Great Linford.
Little Legs Walk One Way cruises run in the school holidays, when there are also short one-hour Kids’ Cruises.
Some cruises offer discounted tickets for Children (age 2-17) and Families of four (2 adults/2 children or 1 adult/3 children).
Please make sure that you book a free Infant ticket for anyone under the age of two.
If you need wheelchair access on a public cruise, you must book an additional free wheelchair ticket. This ensures we’ve allocated the extra space and that we’re ready to help you aboard in advance.
If there are food choices included in your cruise ticket, make sure you take your pick.
Please note: bookings close 72 hours before the cruise departure time to allow our volunteers to get everything ready for you.
For queries about Electra or for more details on our public cruises, please email our volunteer team – email@example.com
Please note: Electra is run entirely by volunteers, so please allow at least 24 hours for a reply – we don’t have an office and we’re not always at our desks.
If you have specific questions about purchasing public cruise tickets, or to buy tickets over the phone, call the BMK Community Boat ticket helpline – 01946 848847
(Lines are open from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, calls are charged at normal rate. Tickets purchased by phone can be emailed or posted for an additional £2.50).
Cruises are run in line with public health guidance. We sanitise the boat before each cruise, have good ventilation, and use an air filter.
